how easy it is to use
PlanITROI’s Employee Purchase Program
Step 1: Auditing of Excess and Obsolete Equipment:
Customers
need to de-install, pack and prepare the employee resale units
for shipping back to PlanITROI. However, very often clients
prefer to have PlanITROI handle the logistics of this process.
PlanITROI will customize a program to take care of any special
needs, including the delivery of packing materials, the coordination
of picking up equipment at single or multiple locations, and
all transportation services.
Step 2: Scheduling & Time Frames:
PlanITROI
puts together a complete schedule of events that takes into
account:
When
equipment will be ready for shipment to PlanITROI;
Time
to refurbish the equipment;
Dates
and types of promotions to employees;
Actual
sale dates;
Delivery
dates;
Payment
schedule for the transactions;
Clean
up of excess inventory.
It will
take approximately 1 week for PlanITROI to set up the dedicated
incoming phone numbers and web site. It is then up to the OEM
and corporate end user to supply the list of equipment, approve
pricing and providing access to associates.
Step
3: Pricing Analysis. Working with you, we determine:

What expenses will be involved for PlanITROI to refurbish
each unit, including shipping, parts, labor, packing and administration.

At what price the equipment should be resold to your employees;
and
-
What your return on investment will be from
PlanITROI.
Once your
equipment arrives at PlanITROI's testing and configuration facility,
it will be carefully audited and inspected. The information
will be placed into a database and PlanITROI will create a detailed
Volume Summary Report (VSR). The report will contain such information
as manufacturer, model number, serial number, asset tag number,
description and condition of the equipment received. If you
prefer to roll out the equipment over an extended period of
time, PlanITROI can publish a Volume Summary Report as needed.
Step 4: Sales & Marketing Process:
First: |
We
(Corporate End-user, OEM & PlanITROI) announce
our exclusive employee resale program, and send out information
which details the limited quantities and attractive pricing
on used and new equipment. We also highlight the list
with a number of special offers to generate interest from
the associates.
In
order for the associates to participate, they must fill
out a form indicating their interest. This form will
be created by PlanITROI and provided via Promotional Flyer,
Intranet, web site, or Email. We will stress that they
should return the form to PlanITROI as soon as possible.
Past experience indicates that two weeks is an adequate
amount of time for your associates to return their forms.
We then can measure the response.

Second: |
We
send out a complete list of products and special offers,
with information on how to order, to all interested employees.
Options:

If response is more than expected, we
can set up a lottery system on a first come, first served
basis, based on the date of their response to PlanITROI.

If the response is poor, we then market the program
via Flyer, Intranet, Web site or Email.

Third: |
Employees
return their orders with payment (personal check,
money order or credit card) via mail, Intranet, Web site
or Email to PlanITROI. PlanITROI processes and confirms
order. |
Fourth: |
PlanITROI
delivers equipment, fully warranted and supported
by PlanITROI and OEM, to designated site at the company,
or to the individual associate’s homes. |
Fifth: |
PlanITROI
will have a Quality Assurance Questionnaire with
each unit. This questionnaire will help PlanITROI assure
that the equipment has been received in good working order
to the associate’s complete satisfaction. |
Step 5: Payment:
PlanITROI
will issue a check directly to both parties (OEM & Corporate
End-user) after all payments from associates have cleared. Corporate
end-user can either have a check in the company's name, or the
value of the equipment can be applied toward the purchase of
new products and services from the OEM.
Payment
will be based on the following (predetermined costs) formula:
Sale Price
- PlanITROI costs to refurbish & market - OEM or Corp.
End User Costs =
GP
to OEM or Corporate End User. A check will be cut after all
payments from associates have cleared.
Step 6: After Sale Inventory Clean Up Options:
PlanITROI
will purchase all excess equipment from both parties after sale
is complete. The price will be negotiated between parties or
based upon PlanITROI’s monthly trade-in pricing for that month.
PlanITROI will be invoiced net 30 days from the date of settlement.
