Online Sales Account Executive: Direct Work Exp: (1-3 years) Requires the ability to move volumes of computers and related hardware out to a broad range of potential buyers. Experience placing products on Amazon, Overstock.com, eBay, buy.com and other online merchants is necessary. The experience does not have to be directly with computers because we’re most interested in candidates with experience in the process. Knowledge of EDI systems is desirable and basic HTML skills would be very helpful. The ability to pick up the phone and work to build relationships with primary customers would be an added bonus. Familiarity with e-marketing techniques would be necessary. The candidate must have strong HTML, communication, organizational and multitasking skills. Basic web and graphic design training would be helpful. Assisting with sales team support, customer support and order requests would be an important aspect of the job. We currently have immediate openings in several departments. We seek interns who are taking courses, and/or have previous experience, in several disciplines including: website administration (posting company products online, website refinements); marketing (research, promotional activities): tech support (computer repair, basic networking, IT support, software installation and training). Corporate Account Manager: Direct Work Exp: (5+ years) This position requires an experienced sales manager who has a proven track record calling upon Fortune 1000 companies and selling services and solutions to senior decision makers. A Corporate Account Manager is responsible for prospecting, developing contacts and owning the relationships with major corporations. The ability to function within multiple departments including, Procurement, Finance, IT, Legal and Logistics is necessary. The position is based in Denville, NJ and is compensated through a base plus significant commissions. Both positions involve managing workflow and manufacturing process supervision. Experience scheduling production activities in a manufacturing environment is necessary. Experience with hardware or electronics, is highly preferred. The right individuals would understand manufacturing efficiency, inventory management, time and labor application management, and basic quality control methods. The ability to generate and support the appropriate reports is mandatory. These positions involve the supervision of technical and production personnel.NOTE: One of these openings would manage production operations in our core business while the other would manage our growing business in “rugged” devices, particularly Panasonic Toughbooks.Both positions report to the Director of Operations. This is the senior quality control position and it requires someone with a proven background in establishing manufacturing quality control systems, building quality check points within a system, reviewing statistics to assess our progress and challenges, and generating the data that would enable us to remedy faults in our production operations. This person should have the ability to train others within the process and be able to write the manual on quality control steps to be implemented at every level. Knowledge of ISO certification requirements, Six Sigma and lean manufacturing processes is preferred. Requires meeting with the business process owners to define the appropriate document standards and workflows. He/she will supervise the document lifecycle (author, approve, publish, revise, retire, archive) information accordingly. Document and workflow management with Microsoft Share Point 2003 or Microsoft Office Share Point Services 2007 or 2003 is a huge plus! Includes managing general warehouse functions such as receiving, handling, stocking and kitting of parts for production. The position involves inventory control responsibilities such as cycle counts, inventory accuracy and related improvements. The position will supervise inventory personnel including material handlers, order pickers, kitters and cleaning staff. For more information: http://www.planitroi.com/web/docs/Inventory_Control_Manager.pdf IT Support Administrator: Direct Work Exp: (4+ years) Our new IT Support Administrator will be responsible for a wide range of IT/IS activities including but not limited to: providing tech and network support throughout the company; diagnosing and repairing workstations, PCs, servers and network issues; configuring and testing new hardware; and performing network back-up. Experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable but knowledge of diagnostic and troubleshooting utilities is necessary. We seek a consultant who can assess our operations, requirements and general specification, and then quickly narrow down our options for the most effective and cost efficient system. Knowledge of project planning, production and inventory management, accounting, communications and reporting integration in the development of scalable information system would be imperative. The ideal candidates will understand diagnostic procedures and be able to sort, inspect, evaluate and test a range of computers and IT equipment. Experience recording the repair work executed and tracking activities and parts required in a production database is would be especially helpful.
