more than 300 companies across various industries and reveals that
businesses are shifting their focus from minimizing costs associated with
equipment disposal to managing data security and privacy risks.
This survey discusses how companies’
in various industries are handling their internal IT assets. If a company
is handling internal IT assets in a way that is less cost effective, then
how are they handling their other products they sell on a regular basis. As
we look at the complete scope of Reverse Logistics and the Definition, I
have seen that not only do IT assets get lost or processed incorrectly and
inefficiently, but that they can be costing an OEM or Retailer more than it
should.
