Value Added Velocity to Market
Another benefit of the PlanITROI returns process is the accelerated speed at which items are processed and sent back to the originating channel outlet, remarketed to third parties with a significant revenue share returned to our client, or recycled.  The efficiency of our ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and R2 compliant systems translates to reduced costs and greater financial returns.

PlanITROI is a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher (MAR) and a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner, and as a MAR PlanITROI has been certified by Microsoft to install a genuine licensed Windows OS on any refurbished computer that is to be remarketed to our customers.  PlanITROI is permitted to affix a genuine Windows Certificate of Authenticity (COA) label on any PC it remarkets, which adds greater value to each unit.   To become a MAR, PlanITROI had to prove it could process large volumes of PC’s, securely manage a high volume of COAs, and provide a quality product back into the marketplace.

Full-cycle RMA Management
Addressing RMA requirements involves more than just the process steps.  A robust RMA program requires that a provider have a keen appreciation of a brand and its value.  Protecting brand value by providing a smart, service oriented RMA structure maintains customer satisfaction, channel satisfaction and client satisfaction, all at the same time.
PlanITROI is motivated to move the RMA process along quickly and efficiently. The process is expedited by PlanITROI because the company receives much of its gross income from its share of the remarketing revenue.

Options for exchanging like-items from a dedicated inventory are available and can ship within a day.  This is particularly advantageous if same-item return is not the priority.  Chain-of-custody tracking is maintained throughout the entire process.

For exchange programs, PlanITROI can provide a replacement unit either upon receipt of a defective unit, or upon contact from a customer, whichever is designated by the client. PlanITROI can provide shipping labels and packing instructions for customers to use for sending back defective units.

Replacement units can be sent overnight if necessary, reducing customer downtime.

Transportation Logistics
PlanITROI has been providing secured (value, data & environmental) reverse logistics from client locations such as desktop, offices, storage room, warehouse, etc… with a variety of teams and transportation. The team and transportation is dependent on the direction we get from our client and the location of the assets for pick up.

PlanITROI offers any level of secure logistics our clients require. Options include:

• Sealed truck (this is PlanITROI’s default option)
• GPS tracking of all vehicles
• Follow-on vehicle to assure shipments travel securely and seals are not tampered with in transit
• Armored transport

All of PlanITROI’s logistics partners have the capacity to ensure someone is with the assets at all times in the transportation process.  All our partners have tracking capability via GPS and some with RFID.  Our clients are able to track their shipments via online web portals.  PlanITROI’s approach to logistics provides clients complete transparency to the chain of custody from the client’s facility to PlanITROI’s facility.  This is another factor toward building client trust.

Retail & e-Tail Experience
All items returned to PlanITROI are captured and assessed upon receipt and a Receipt of Equipment (ROE) report was generated back to the client. All data related to quantity received, dates received; product brand, model, type, configuration, serial number and truck ID (as appropriate) are input into the ROE report.

All equipment passes through the audit and the refurbishment and remarketing process, or is designated for parts harvesting, with the balance going to recycling.  Every unit is tracked and accounted for and settlement reports listed all the work provided against each every unit.  Final remarketing revenue and NET ROI figures are included in each report.

Distributor Services
PlanITROI has spent 20 years servicing major distributors such as Tech Data, Synnex, Ingram Micro, etc… on behalf of OEM’s.  The programs the company supported have been trade-in programs for older used equipment and extended warranty work

Consumer Direct
PlanITROI sells refurbished third-party branded products to consumers via e-tail outlets including Amazon and eBay and the company’s owned Toughbookexchange.com.  Accordingly, PlanITROI manages any returns of those items.  The company provides extended warranty support within a completely self-contained model.
